Abstract
This article aims to reveal the halal philosophy from the normative perspective of the Koran, Islamic law, and in Sharia economics as an embodiment of the certainty of Sharia law in Indonesia. This type of research is a literature review that relies on library references as a source of research data. Meanwhile, the analysis method for this research uses the content analysis method. The results of this research show that in the study the philosophical values of halal are described, namely: In relation to halal rules, the ontology tries to explain the origins (essence) of the halal rules themselves. Halal as part of the science of sharia economic law departs from the texts of the Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith which have absolute truth value. From an epistemological perspective, halal is related to efforts or ijtihad to apply halal rules in sharia economic transactions. For this reason, it is necessary to maintain Islamic values so that they do not depart from correct principles because ultimately transactions in sharia economics will enter the practical realm. Meanwhile, from an axiological perspective, halal rules certainly play an important role in providing correct guidance for humans in living their lives. Guided by halal rules, Muslims can carry out their economic life well and purposefully, both in terms of production, consumption and exchange activities.
